Recent isolved® product release

On March 5th, 2021, isolved® deployed product release v7.3, including new updates for payroll, time & benefits

You’ll find the following related topics covered in this article:

HR, Payroll and Time

  • Close Pay Period has been merged with the Process Payroll screen
  • California Pay Data Report to comply with the new requirements

Benefits

Update to reports on ACA Forms Approval screen

HR, Payroll and Time

Close Pay Period has been merged with the Process Payroll screen

The Process Payroll screen has a new look that brings all payroll processing functions on one screen. For customers using isolved Time, this means that the Close Pay Period screen has been removed, and the functionality has moved to the Process Payroll screen.

You can see below that the ability to lock and commit timecards is now included on the Process Payroll screen along with the ability to preview and process your payroll.

For users who do not use isolved Time, your Process Payroll screen is also enhanced with the new look but without the timecard functionality included.

The Check Stub Message is still available but has been moved beneath the payroll details on the right. The Last Payroll Processed details have moved to a separate tab.

New Anniversaries analytics dashboard

A new Anniversaries screen has been added under the new Employee Analytics menu to help you manage your employee anniversaries with the company. A drop-down menu allows you to pull All Anniversaries, Anniversaries in the next 7 days, or Anniversaries by month. An additional drop-down allows you to choose if the anniversaries are based on the employee’s Hire Date or Adjusted Service Date.

California Pay Data Report to comply with the new requirements

California employers of 100 or more employees must report pay and hours-worked data by establishment, job category, sex, race and ethnicity to the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) by March 31, 2021 and annually thereafter. To accommodate this requirement, isolved has created a downloadable report that can be uploaded to the California online portal. It will be the customer’s responsibility to file these reports timely.

To support this report, isolved has added a new Establishments screen that allows you to add individual establishments and assign work locations to them. This new screen is found under Client Management > Client Maintenance > Establishments.

For the report to pull data, a unique payroll accumulator needs to be added by your Insperity® payroll specialist.

The CA Pay Data Report is available in your report listing under Reporting > Client Reports. Additional fields are available in report options to obtain information required for the report that is not maintained in isolved.

The report also has empty fields available for clarifying remarks at the employer level and employee detail level (shown below). You can enter remarks prior to uploading the report.

When you are ready to set up the custom accumulator to support the report, please reach out to your payroll specialist for assistance.
