The Federal Reserve System will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and on Monday, Feb. 17, 2025, in observance of Presidents Day.

Insperity offices will also be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

You will need to consider banking holidays when processing payrolls to allow enough time for payroll funding and employee direct deposits to be received and posted by the check date.  Payrolls must be submitted by 3 p.m. CT at least two banking days in advance of the check date.  For a listing of all federal and Insperity-observed holidays for 2025, see Federal Reserve and Insperity holiday schedule in the Insperity® Help Center.

The Federal Reserve System and Insperity offices will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024, in observance of Christmas Day and Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, in observance of New Year’s Day.

You will need to consider these banking holidays when processing payrolls around this time. Payrolls must be submitted by 3 p.m. CT at least two banking days in advance of the check date. This allows enough time for payroll funding and employee direct deposits to be received and posted by the check date.

If your regularly scheduled pay date occurs on Friday, Nov. 29, payroll must be posted no later than 3 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Nov. 26, to meet the required funding deadline for employee direct deposit payments.

Our original newsletter and article incorrectly stated that there was a bank closure holiday on Nov, 10, 2023 due to Veterans Day, which is Nov 11, 2023.

The Federal Reserve Bank will not be closed on the preceding Friday, Nov. 10, 2023.
